GHK-Cu: a research procurement checklist
For a GHK-Cu research enquiry, start with the exact material and documentary requirements. A useful listing helps you compare the declared specification before you consider the order.
Confirm what the supplier declares.
Request the exact identity, chemical form, composition information and specification required by your laboratory. Where a particular component or content basis matters, ask the supplier to state it explicitly. Packaging colour and product photography do not verify composition.
Compare the actual pack.
A 50mg listing and a 100mg listing are different packs. Confirm the basis of the nominal quantity, then compare the quantity and documentation you need. Scaling a price per milligram is a rough purchasing aid, not proof that the supplied materials are equivalent.
Read the report in context.
Check sample and batch identity, method, report date and provenance. Ask how the test result relates to the lot available for dispatch. A purity figure alone does not establish every property your study may require.
Keep price and evidence together.
Ask for the delivered total, applicable tax, quantity minimum, current lead time and discrepancy terms alongside the documents. For a repeat purchase, review the new lot and current offer rather than relying on a previous order’s records.
A procurement guide, not evidence of Portman stock or testing. Confirm the actual offer and original records before purchasing. For laboratory research only.
